Das, APP Mr. Shataroop Purkayastha … for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in connection with the instant case. Learned advocate for the State produces the case diary and submits that there is specific assertion that in the CCTV footage, the gold ornament was found to be in the pocket of the present petitioner. Having considered the same, I am of the view that this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail to the present petitioner. 2 Hence, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is Rejected. Accordingly, CRM (A) 1520 of 2026 is dismissed. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon’ble High Court, Calcutta.
