The present Writ Petition is filed to direct the Respondent- authorities for expeditious disposal of the appeal filed by the Petitioner questioning the dismissal order passed against him by Respondent No.2 vide Letter in CO:ERD:DA:4269:2023 dated 21.06.2023. 2. It is stated that while the Petitioner was working as Branch Manager in Respondent-Bank, the Petitioner was dismissed from service on account of some irregularities as mentioned in the dismissal order. Though an appeal was filed by the Petitioner within the time frame specified in the Union Bank of India Officer Employees’ (Discipline and Appeal) Regulations, the same is not being considered by the Respondent-authorities. Hence, the present Writ Petition is filed. 3. Heard Sri A.N.S. Venkatesh, learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as Sri S. Satyanarayana Murthy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for Respondent No.3. 4 4.
