Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ directing the Respondents to consider and decide upon the statutory appeal filed (along with condone delay application) by me on 16.02.2026 pursuant to my removal from service vide 1st Authority letter dated COERDDA42692023 dated 21.06.2023 within a period of two weeks, while declaring the non-

ORDER:
1. The present Writ Petition is filed to direct the Respondent- authorities for expeditious disposal of the appeal filed by the Petitioner questioning the dismissal order passed against him by Respondent No.2 vide Letter in CO:ERD:DA:4269:2023 dated
21.06.2023.
2. It is stated that while the Petitioner was working as Branch Manager in Respondent-Bank, the Petitioner was dismissed from service on account of some irregularities as mentioned in the dismissal order. Though an appeal was filed by the Petitioner within the time frame specified in the Union Bank of India Officer Employees’ (Discipline and Appeal) Regulations, the same is not being considered by the Respondent-authorities. Hence, the present Writ Petition is filed.
3. Heard Sri A.N.S. Venkatesh, learned counsel for the Petitioner as well as Sri S. Satyanarayana Murthy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for Respondent No.3.

4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is
disposed with the following directions;
(i) Respondent No.1 is directed to consider the appeal filed by
the Petitioner and dispose of the same, as expeditiously as
possible, preferably within a period of three (3) months from
the date of receipt of a copy of this order;
(ii) No order as to costs.
