Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an appeal before the District Election Officer, Nadia, Krisnanagar against the deletion of his name from the voter list but the District Election Officer has not considered the request till date. She prays for an
order directing the District Election Officer to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner as early as possible.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the District Election Officer, Nadia, Krishnanagar to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated March 10, 2026 after giving an opportunity of hearing within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of this order.
3. Accordingly, WPA 17343 of 2026 is disposed of.
