This is an application on behalf of the applicant/respondent for examination of additional witness, namely, Shri. Democratis Marbaniang, Assistant Registrar of this Court. 2. Mr. A.S.Pandey, learned counsel for the applicant submits that this has been necessitated due to the fact that when the Stamp Reporter was examined on 18-03-2026, in her deposition had named Shri. Democratis Marbaniang, Assistant Registrar, In-charge filing who had checked the petition with regard to compliance in terms of Section 80 of Representation of Peoples Act, 1951. 3. Mr. J.Suchiang, learned counsel for the election petitioner has no objection to the prayer made in the misc. application. 4. Accordingly, let Shri. Democratis Marbaniang, Assistant Registrar of this Court, be summoned as official witness to tender his deposition. Respondent to issue necessary summons to be filed in the Registry for necessary process. 5. With regard to the date, Mr. J.Suchiang, learned counsel for the election petitioner has prayed that the evidence be taken up after one week, but however, Mr. A.S.Pandey, learned counsel for the applicant submits that due pressing personal difficulty prays that the matter be taken up on the first 2026:MLHC:557 3 week of July as a fixed item for recording the deposition of the new official witness. 6.
