JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA ORAL ORDER Heard Sri. Kashinath J.D., learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, Sri. Rupesh Kumar S., learned counsel - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010480072026 NC: 2026:KHC:42564 WP No. 21631 of 2026 appearing for the respondent and have perused the material on record. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that pursuant to the order passed on 27.07.2026, the petitioners have deposited 26 months arrears, 50% of which will now be permitted to withdrawn by the wife. 3. Registry is directed to transmit the said amount to the account of the wife without brooking any delay. 4. Both the learned counsel appearing for the parties would submit that the matter be disposed with a direction to the appellate Court to dispose the subject appeal within a time frame. 5. In the light of the said submission, I deem it appropriate to direct the concerned Court to dispose the appeal within an outer limit of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010480072026 NC: 2026:KHC:42564 WP No. 21631 of 2026 6. The remainder of the 50% of the amount be transmitted to the Appellate Court for the Appellate Court to pass necessary orders for its release. 7. It is made clear that the maintenance that is awarded shall be continued to be paid to the wife unless the concerned Court would modify the same.
