(ORAL) The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the ‘clarification on news reports regarding LPG refill booking timelines’, dated 25.03.2026, prescribing twenty-five days’ time for refill booking of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in urban areas, and forty-five days in rural areas. 2. Learned counsel for respondents no.3, 4, 6 and 7 submits that the aforesaid timelines for refill booking of LPG in urban and rural areas have been issued by the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas in terms of its revised order, dated 09.03.2026, passed in exercise of powers conferred vide Clauses 3 and 5 of the Petroleum Products (Maintenance of Production, Storage and Supply) Order, 1999, read with Section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955. Since the aforesaid revised order, dated 09.03.2026, whereunder the impugned clarification dated 25.03.2026 has been issued, is not under challenge, the petition cannot be entertained and hereby stands dismissed. 5.
