Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was arrested on 03/03/2026 since then he is in custody. Charge sheet has already been submitted and the total quantum of seizure in the present case 27.520 kg. of Ganja. Learned advocate appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail. I have taken into account the fact that the prosecution has relied upon 11 witnesses in order to prove its case, which will consume some time. Having regard to the same, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Thus, prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. Accordingly, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.20,000/- with two sureties of Rs.10,000/- each, one of whom must be local to the

satisfaction of learned Judge, NDPS Act, 4th Court, Alipore, South 24 Parganas. If on bail, the petitioner shall be physically present on each and every date fixed before the learned Trial Court and shall not leave the jurisdiction of District South 24 Parganas without the prior permission of the learned Special Court. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 1566 of 2026 is allowed. Memo of evidence filed by the State is taken on record. All parties shall act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
