The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Manjhiaon P.S. Case No.54 of 2025, for offence registered under section 317(2)/3(5) of BNS, 2023 and section 11 of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1871 and Section 12 of Jharkhand Bovine Animals (Prohibition of Slaughter), Act, 2005, pending in court of learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Garhwa. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner happened to be erstwhile owner of Bolero pick up van and the allegations are made of carrying bovine animals. He next submits that the said pick up van was sold by the petitioner on 13.02.2024 by way of Annexure-2 and the alleged occurrence is said to be dated 28.04.2025. He next submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in paragraph no.16. 4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that the petitioner happened to be owner of the said vehicle. 5. Annexure -2 is the document which suggest that on non-judicial stamp paper the said vehicle was sold to Asgar Alam and the petitioner is having no criminal antecedent as aforesaid, and in that view of the matter, the petitioner, above named, is directed to surrender before learned court within two weeks from today, and learned court shall release petitioner, above named, on such terms and conditions as well as sureties as learned court may deem fit and proper. 6.
