Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for 2 years 3 months. Charge-sheet has been submitted in the year 2024 and till date few witnesses only have been examined. Prosecution intends to examine substantial number of more witnesses. As such, there is no possibility of the trial being concluded so the petitioner be released on bail.
Learned advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail and has produced the case diary.
I have taken into account the materials appearing
2 against the petitioner which primarily reflects that a sum of Rs.21 lakhs being recovered. The issue relating to injury also is attributed to the petitioner and the petitioner has been identified in the T.I.Parade.
Having considered the same, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. As such, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM(M)1506 of 2026 is rejected.
Case diary be returned to the learned advocate appearing for the State.
