Accused no.1 in Crime No.218/2026 was registered by Koramangala Police Station, Bengaluru City, for the offences punishable under Sections 109(1), 351(1), 115(2), 74, 79 of BNS, 2023, is before this Court in this petition filed under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023, seeking regular bail. 2. Heard the learned Counsel for the parties. 3. FIR in Crime No.218/2026 was registered by Koramangala Police Station, Bengaluru City, against the petitioner and others based on the first information dated 02.07.2026 received from Sharadamma who is one of the injured victim in the present case. During the course of investigation of the case, petitioner was arrested on 03.07.2026 and remanded to judicial custody. His bail application filed before the jurisdictional Sessions Court in Crl. Misc. No.6708/2026 was rejected on 13.07.2026. Therefore, petitioner is before this Court. 4. Perusal of the material on record would go to show that family of the petitioner and the family of the injured victims in - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010498222026 NC: 2026:KHC:43306 CRL.P No. 10850 of 2026 the present case are neighbours, and there is some dispute between them. They had earlier quarreled with each other on multiple occasions, and in respect of the alleged incident that had taken place on 02.07.2026, there is a case and counter case in Crime No.218/2026 and Crime No.219/2026 registered by Koramangala Police Station. 5. Perusal of the FIR in the aforesaid cases would go to show that both the parties have suffered injuries in the incident in question. The accused persons in Crime No.219/2026 who are the victims in the present case are said to have been granted bail by the jurisdictional Sessions Court. 6. It is not in dispute that petitioner who is a married man has no other criminal antecedents. The injured victims in the present case are already discharged from the hospital and their condition is said to be stable. The injured victims have suffered injury on their hand, which is not the vital part of the body. Considering the aforesaid aspects of the matter, I am of the opinion that petitioner's prayer for grant of regular bail is - 4 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010498222026 NC: 2026:KHC:43306 CRL.P No. 10850 of 2026 required to be answered affirmatively. Accordingly, the following order: 7. The petition is allowed. The petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in Crime No.218/2026 was registered by Koramangala Police Station, Bengaluru City, for the offences punishable under Sections 109(1), 351(1), 115(2), 74, 79 of BNS, 2023, subject to the following conditions: a) Petitioner shall execute personal bond for a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with two sureties for the likesum, to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional Court; b) The petitioner shall appear regularly on all the dates of hearing before the Trial Court unless the Trial Court exempts his appearance for valid reasons; c) The petitioner shall not directly or indirectly threaten or tamper with the prosecution witnesses; d) The petitioner shall not involve in similar offences in future; - 5 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010498222026 NC: 2026:KHC:43306 CRL.P No. 10850 of 2026 e) The petitioner shall not leave the jurisdiction of the Trial Court without permission of the said Court until the case registered against him is disposed off.
