Court No. 6 (265719) 20.08.2026
(AD 15)
(S. Banerjee) CO 2775 of 2026
Ravi Kumar Shaw Vs. Alka Rani Shaw
Mr. Kaustav Sen Ms. Sristi Mukhopadhyay
…for the petitioner Mr. Ratnadeep Roy Ms. Suman Biswas
…for the opposite-party
This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is at the instance of the husband and is directed against the order dated June 16, 2026 passed by the learned Civil Judge (Jr. Division), 5th Court at Alipore in Miscellaneous Case No. 219 of 2024. By the order dated June 16, 2026, the petitioner was
directed to file challans/receipts showing compliance of the order dated September 14, 2022 and August 17, 2026 was fixed for compliance. Record reveals that by an
order dated September 14, 2022 ad interim maintenance of Rs. 10,000/- per month was granted in favour of the defendant no. 1/opposite-party herein. Nothing has been produced before this Court at this stage to show that the order dated September 14,
2 2022 has been set aside or stayed by any competent Court of law. The order dated September 9, 2022 directing payment of interim maintenance is binding upon the petitioner and it is the duty of the Court to ascertain whether such order has been complied with or not. By the order impugned, the petitioner has been
directed only to produce the receipts to show whether he has complied with the order dated September 14, 2022 or not. This Court does not find any reason to interfere with such order. Accordingly, this civil revisional application stands disposed of. Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this civil revisional application upon the learned advocate appearing for the opposite party in course of this week.
