ORAL ORDER
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is not intending to press relief Nos.2 and 3 as the same has become infructuous.
2. As regard to relief No.1, seeking direction to the respondents authorities to provide water facilities, he submits that currently petitioner and like others have

made alternate arrangement of procuring the water through private sources. He further submits that if direction is issued to the respondents authorities to provide an opportunity to the petitioner and like others to work out amicable alternative modalities, the purpose of the petition would be served.
3. Learned counsel for the respondent - KIADB on the other hand submits that KIADB also make all its endeavour to provide water facilities subject to availability of the resources, the same will also be considered.
4. In view of the aforesaid submissions, petition is
disposed of. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the respondent authorities, who shall work together to resolve this issue of supply of water by such amicable alternative modalities as may be mutually agreed upon as expeditiously as possible.
