APP Mr. Sunil Gupta … for the State-respondent(s) Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that although the subject-matter of the case relates to alleged recovery of 2 kg 26 gm of brown sugar but so far as the present petitioner is concerned, he relates to second seizure. Learned advocate again submits that the petitioner is in custody for about eight months. As such, learned advocate, prays that the petitioner may be released on bail. Learned advocate for the State has produced the chemical examiner’s report in respect of the seizure. Having considered the quantum involved, at this stage, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is Rejected. 2 The petitioner would renew his prayer for bail after the evidence of the seizure list witnesses is over. Accordingly, CRM (NDPS) 982 of 2026 is dismissed. Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of. Chemical examiner’s report submitted be kept with the record. The Investigating Officer of the case is present in court today. His further appearance before this court for the day is dispensed with.
