Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 28.02.2025 in connection with Ghaghra P.S. Case No. 25 of 2025, corresponding to S.T. Case No. 105 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 103(1) of the B.N.S. 2023, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Gumla. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the marriage between the petitioner and the victim was solemnized some times in the year 2000. She has submitted that the petitioner, though the husband, he has been falsely implicated in this case. The learned counsel has also submitted that a few of the witnesses have not fully supported the prosecution case. She submits that the victim died due to fall on the ground. 4. Learned counsel for the opposite party-State has opposed the prayer and has submitted that there is direct and specific allegation against the petitioner. 5. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the direct allegation against the petitioner of assault which resulted in causing death, this court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner above named is hereby rejected. 6. However, it appears that a number of witnesses have been examined before the court.
