The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was at Mangaldoi on the date of occurrence. However, there is nothing on record to show such absence from the place of occurrence. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is not the owner of the Scorpio vehicle mentioned in the FIR. 4. The allegations levelled in the FIR and the contents of the Case Diary do not inspire this Court to grant the privilege of an anticipatory bail to the petitioner at this stage of investigation.
