The affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioners be kept with the record. 2. The petitioners have filed the present writ application praying for a direction upon the respondents to unlock the scheduled property which sealed by the Enforcement Directorate on May 22, 2025. The private respondent is the tenant of the petitioners. The private respondent is indulged in several criminal activities. In one of the criminal case against the private respondent, the E.D. has seized the tenanted premises of the private respondent which is the property of the petitioners herein. The petitioners pray for a direction upon the E.D. to open the lock and to inspect the premises in presence of the petitioners and to hand over the said premises to the petitioners. 3. The petitioners are a landlord and the private respondent is a tenant. The E.D. has seized the premises with regard to the criminal case initiated against the private respondent. The private respondent is at present in correctional home. The petitioners intend that in 2 absence of the private respondent, the E.D. should open the lock and to hand over the premises to the petitioner. 4. This Court did not find any merit in the writ application filed by the petitioners and is not maintainable. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. 6. However, the dismissal of the writ petition will not prevent the petitioners for taking appropriate steps before appropriate court of law for recovery of possession of the premises-in-question. 7. However, there shall be no order as to costs. 8. Urgent Xerox certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities. (Krishna Rao, J.)
