Mr S Biswas, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that when the entire proceeding have been closed on submission of a Final Report, the petitioner had approached this Court challenging the order of the learned Special Judicial Magistrate, Kamrup (Metro), in connection with Dispur PS Case No. 4048/2021. 3. Mr Biswas has submitted that on a petition being filed before the learned Trial Court, raising grievances against accepting the Final Report, the learned Trial Court has, by the order dated 13.03.2026, passed in Dispur PS Case No. 4048/2021, rejected the Final Report and has remitted the matter back for further investigation by an Officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police, who would conduct an independent, objective and time-bound investigation addressing the specific queries noted in the order itself. 4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for the time being, the grievances of the petitioner stand redressed and this Criminal Petition would not require any further adjudication for the moment. 5. Accordingly, this Criminal Petition stands closed. 6. The petitioner would be at liberty to raise any future grievances, without reference to the closure of this criminal petition.
