Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has challenged the impugned transfer order dated 18.08.2026 (Annexure P/1), whereby he has been transferred from Rural Engineering Services, Division Durg, District Durg to Rural Engineering Services, Division Kanker. 2 petitioner is due to retire within 13 months. It is submitted that the petitioner has already made a representation before the Committee constituted under Clause 8 of the Transfer Policy and prays that the same may be considered and decided in accordance with law.
2. Learned State counsel submits that, in case the petitioner’s representation is pending before the competent Transfer Committee constituted under Clause 8 of the State Transfer Policy, the same shall be considered and decided in accordance with law.
3. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
4. Considering the nature of the grievance raised by the petitioner and the submission made by learned State counsel, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case. It is directed that if the representation of the petitioner is pending, the competent Transfer Committee shall consider and decide the same by passing a reasoned and speaking order, strictly in accordance with law and the applicable Transfer Policy, preferably within a period of 25 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands
