Rakib CRM (M) 846 of 2026 In Re: An Application for Bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973/Under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 in connection with Paikar Police Station case no. 104 of 2024 dated 13.04.2024 under Sections 448/341/325/307/302/120B/506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860. And In the matter of : Purnu Mal @ Purnendu Mal. ……Petitioner. Mr. Sayanta Maity .....for the Petitioner. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner prays for accommodation. Mr. Rajendra Banerjee, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that his name should be expunged from the order. None appears on behalf of the State. The bail application was filed on 31st of March, 2026 and till date both the parties did not address the bail application on merits. Considering the same and there being change of circumstances in last four and half months, on the merits of the case learned trial Court would be lenient, if a fresh application for bail is filed, the same be disposed of at the earliest. With the aforesaid observations CRM (M) 846 of 2026 is disposed of. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. 2 Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
