JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER On 24.03.2026, the following order was passed: “ Learned Additional Government Advocate submits on instructions from the in-charge Tahsildar, Tarikere Taluk, that the claim of the petitioner in this petition is in respect of Sy.No.53 of Shivapura Village, Amruthapura, Hobli, Tarikere Taluk. However the learned AGA has furnished the original mutation register to show that there have been insertions in the Mutation Register showing mutation orders commencing from MR No.6/1996- 97 to MR No.13/1996-97, all pertaining to Sy.No.53 and various extents are shown. However learned AGA submits that according to the Akarband Sy.No.53 has got only 10 acres of land and the entire extent of 10 acres are standing in the name of private individuals and therefore the petitioners could not have filed an application seeking regularization of unauthorized occupation in respect of a land not belonging to the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:18545 WP No. 32637 of 2025 Government. Therefore, it is submitted that it is clearly demonstrated that the claim of the petitioners in this respect is totally unfounded and the claim is based on fictitious entries made in the revenue records. Learned counsel for the petitioners seeks for a short accommodation to secure instructions and make submissions. Re-list these matters on 06.04.2026.” 2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the writ petition as not pressed. 3.
