1. The petitioners have filed this petition seeking following relief (s) :
“10.1 direct, the respondents to consider the case of the petitioners for regularization to the post on which the petitioners are serving since 2006. 10.2 Any appropriate order/direction may also be kindly passed by Hon'ble Court in favor of Petitioners, which deems to be fit in the circumstances of the case.”
2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners were appointed as daily-rated employees vide order REKHA SINGH Digitally signed by REKHA SINGH DN: cn=REKHA SINGH, ou=HIGH COURT, o=HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH, st=Chhattisgarh, c=IN Date: 2026.08.31 17:00:10 +0530
-2- dated 11.12.2006 on the posts of Peon, Cook, Waterman, Carpenter, etc. She would submit that the petitioners have worked for more than 20 years, but till date, their claim(s) with regard to regularization has not been considered by respondent No.3/Block Education Officer. She would contend that the petitioners may be permitted to make detailed representation(s) before respondent No.3 and, in turn, the said authority may be directed to decide the same expeditiously, strictly in accordance with law. 3. On the other hand, Mr. Sahu, learned Panel Lawyer appearing for the State/respondents would oppose the submissions. 4. Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 5.
Having considered the limited prayer made by the petitioners, this petition, at this juncture, is disposed of, reserving liberty in favour of the petitioners to make detailed representation(s) before respondent No.3 and in turn, the said authority is directed to consider the claim of the petitioners with regard to regularization strictly in accordance with law within a further period of 90 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. 7. With the aforesaid observation(s)/direction(s), the present petition is disposed of. Sd/-
