BEFORE HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE RAJESH MAZUMDAR ORDER Date : 23.02.2026 Seen the grounds given in the interlocutory application for condonation of 1108 days of delay. The primary ground is that the petitioner had been taken into custody and was serving out his sentence and lost the free copy of the judgment and thereafter efforts had been made to get another copy, contact with the family of the applicant, and thereafter the criminal revision could be filed.
2. Mr. D.P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appears for the State. Although there has been objection on the part of the Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is of the opinion that the grounds given by the applicant for condonation of the delay is reasonable and the delay deserves to be condoned. Accordingly the delay in filing the connected criminal revision petition is condoned.
3. Registry to take steps accordingly to have criminal petition registered and listed. Interlocutory application stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
