GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING The Court made the following order: Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Assistant Government Pleader for School Education, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning and learned Standing Counsel for APEWIDC appearing for respondents. 2. The petitioner is aggrieved by the respondent's failure to remit the dues due to the petitioner in relation to the civil (construction) works executed by the petitioner in accordance with the agreement entered into with the respondents. 3. It is contended that the petitioner was awarded construction contract of completion of incomplete building (Block-C) belonging to Government polytechnic college, Vempalli, YSR District. 4. It is further contended that the contract awarded to the petitioner was executed within the time and the same have been duly recorded in the M- Book in that regard an amount of Rs.1,18,41,704/- is due to the petitioner by the respondents. The bills submitted for payment of the said amount have not been processed. Hence, the instant writ petition. 5. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Assistant Government Pleader for School Education has placed before the Court a copy 3 of the Written Instructions received from the Commissioner of Higher Education dated 22.06.2026. A perusal of the same would reflect that the Commissioner of Higher Education (TE), vide letter dated 20.05.2026, requested the Principal Secretary to the Government, Higher Education Department, to request the 4th respondent to take necessary steps for the payment of Rs.1,18,41,704/- from the PADA funds. 6. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Standing Counsel for APEWIDC also placed before the Court a copy of the Written Instructions received from the 3rd respondent dated 07.05.2026 stating that the gross amount payable is Rs.1,18,41,704/-, the deductions amount to Rs.16,33,026/-, and after such deductions, the net amount payable to the petitioner is Rs.1,02,08,678/-. 7. Having regard to the contentions advanced, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents to pay the admitted amount of Rs.1,02,08,678/- due to the petitioner, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 8. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
