2 by the petitioner has already been extended pursuant to the aforesaid notification and, therefore, the present writ petition has been rendered infructuous. 2
Learned counsel appearing for the respondents fairly concurs with the aforesaid submission and submits that, in view of the subsequent developments, nothing further survives for consideration in the present writ petition. 3 I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 4 In view of the subsequent notification dated 28.04.2025 and the fact that the grievance of the petitioner already stands redressed, no effective relief remains to be granted in the present proceedings. Consequently, continuation of the writ petition would serve no useful purpose. 5 Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
