3. Heard the arguments of learned counsel for petitioner.
4. This Civil Petition is filed by the petitioner/wife for transfer of M.C.No.1377/2026 filed by the husband for divorce before the II Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru, to the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Chikkamagaluru.
5. The petitioner is residing with her parents at Chikkamagaluru and has also filed M.C.No.3/2026 for restitution of conjugal rights and Crl.Misc.No.64/2026 for

maintenance. The distance between Bengaluru and Chikkamagaluru is 242 kilometres. The marriage between the parties was solemnized on 25.11.2024 and they have no children. The petitioner is not working and earning. She was driven out of the respondent house on 10.10.2025. Since the petitioner has filed a petition for restitution of conjugal rights and the respondent has filed a petition for divorce, both matters to be tried together by one Court to avoid conflicting decisions. Therefore, this Court finds it is just and reasonable to transfer M.C.No.1377/2026 from the II Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru, to the Court of Principal Judge, Family Court, Chikkamagaluru. Accordingly, the Civil Petition is allowed. The Family Court is specifically directed to club both matters and dispose of them together to avoid conflicting decisions.
