Also heard Mr. D. P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, in respect Doboka P.S. Case No.100/2025 under Section 75(2)/115(2) of the BNS, whereby the petitioner Furkanuddin @ Furkan Ali has prayed for releasing him on pre-arrest Page No.# 2/2 bail. 3. A married woman having two children has alleged that on the day of occurrence, the petitioner entered into her house, while there was no electricity. The petitioner forcefully laid her down on the bed and tried to commit sexual intercourse with her. The woman refused and then the petitioner slapped her. 4. After considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for both sides, this Court is of the opinion that for the aforesaid reason, the petitioner does not deserve to be detained in custody. Therefore, the pre-arrest bail application of the petitioner is allowed. 5. It is hereby directed that in the event of arrest in connection with Doboka P.S. Case No.100/2025 the petitioner, Furkanuddin @ Furkan Ali shall be released on bail of Rs.25,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the Arresting Authority. 6. With the aforesaid direction, this pre-arrest bail application stands disposed of. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
