None appeared on behalf of respondent No. 2. The present application has been filed for impleading Shri Ningthoujam Geoffrey, IAS, the Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Hr. & Tech. Edn.), Government of Manipur as respondent No. 3 in the connected Contempt Case (C) No. 5 of 2026 as the said officer is necessary party. Mr. M. Devananda, learned Addl. In view of the submission made above and on perusal of the record, this Court is satisfied that Shri Ningthoujam Geoffrey, IAS, the Commissioner-cum-Secretary (Hr. & Tech. Edn.), Government of Manipur is required to be impleaded in the connected Contempt Case as respondent No. 3. Accordingly, the impleadment application is hereby allowed. Registry is directed to incorporate the name of the said officer as respondent No. 3 in the cause title of the connected Contempt Case.
