1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the interview of the petitioner before the Passport Authority is fixed on August 17, 2026 but due to deletion of the name of the petitioner from the voter list, it is not possible for the petitioner to produce the documents before the Passport Authorities. He submits that the petitioner has already preferred an appeal before the SIR Tribunal and the same is pending. He prays for a direction upon the Appellate Tribunal for disposal of the appeal as early as possible and till the disposal of the appeal by the Appellate Authorities, the Passport Authorities may be directed not to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner for grant of passport.
2. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Appellate Tribunal is requested to consider and dispose of the appeal preferred by the petitioner as early as possible, preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of this order.

3. The Passport Authorities are directed to postpone the interview of the petitioner for grant of passport for a period of three weeks or till the disposal of the appeal filed by the petitioner.
4. Accordingly, WPA 16237 of 2026 stands disposed of.
5. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
