This MCC has been filed for restoration of MCC No.1277/2025, which was dismissed for want of prosecution by this Court vide order dated 16.01.2026. 2. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that MCC No.1277/2025 was dismissed for want of prosecution vide order dated 16.01.2026, as the counsel could not appear when the matter was listed, due to a bona fide and inadvertent mistake. It is, therefore, submitted that the non-appearance was neither intentional nor deliberate and, accordingly, restoration of MCC No.1277/2026 to its original number is prayed for. 3. We have heard learned counsel for the applicant and perused the material available on record. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the explanation furnished by the applicant, this Court is satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown for restoration of MCC No.1277/2025. 5. Accordingly, this MCC is allowed. The order dated 16.01.2026, whereby MCC No.1277/2025 stood dismissed for want of 3 prosecution, is recalled. MCC No.1277/2025 is restored to its original number. 6.
