The present writ petition has been filed seeking for the following relief (s):- “10.1 This Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to call for the en- tire records pertaining to the case of the petitioner for its kind pe- rusal. 10.2 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent No. 3 to sanction the budget for salary of the peti- tioner to the tune of Rs. 1,86,660/- with interest @ 18% forthwith and thereafter the respondent No. 5 be kindly directed to release the salary of the petitioner with 18% interest. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was ap- pointed as a Computer Operator on contractual basis and, pursuant to the order dated 03.12.2015, was transferred to the School Education Department, where he continuously discharged his duties. However, his salary for the period from April, 2016 to March, 2017 amounting to Rs.1,65,000/- and for January and February, 2018 amounting to Rs.21,660/-, totalling Rs.1,86,660/-, has not been released despite re- peated requests made by the District Education Officer and the repre- sentation submitted by the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that, during the pendency of the present writ petition, the grievance of the petitioner has been re- dressed. It is submitted that an advance amount of Rs.30,000/- was al- ready paid to the petitioner on 25.07.2017 and, towards the remaining amount payable for the period from April, 2016 to March, 2017, an amount of Rs.49,182/- has been paid to the petitioner vide cheque No.839693 dated 13.12.2024, as reflected from Annexure R/1 to the re- turn. It is, therefore, submitted that nothing further survives for consid- eration in the present writ petition. 4. Be that as it may, since an amount of Rs.49,182/- and an advance amount of Rs.30,000/- have already been paid to the petitioner, the pe- titioner is at liberty to make a representation before respondent No.5 with regard to the remaining amount, if any. In the event such represen- tation is made, respondent No.5 shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of six weeks. 5.
