The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for a mandamus directing respondent No.3 to consider the representation of the petitioner's Association dated 11.02.2026 vide Annexure-H, wherein the petitioner has requested to relax the admission criteria for Academic Year 2026-27 and permit the Institutions of the petitioner to admit the students to various Diploma courses; and also sought for a mandamus directing respondent No.2 to consider the representation dated 23.03.2026 vide Annexure-K and issue appropriate notification forthwith enabling admission of the students for the Academic Year 2026-27 for various diploma courses. However, neither respondent No.2 nor respondent No.3 has considered the representations. Hence, this petition. 2. Learned counsel appearing for respondent No.3 submits that respondent No.3 has already considered - 5 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010312312026 NC: 2026:KHC:40132 WP No. 13968 of 2026 the representation dated 11.02.2026 submitted by the petitioner, vide Annexure-H and has passed an order on 08.06.2026. A copy of the said order is also produced. 3. Learned High Court Government Pleader submits that if a reasonable time is granted, respondent No.2 will consider the representation dated 23.03.2026 vide Annexure-K and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law. 4. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for respondent No.2, respondent No.2 is directed to consider the representation dated 23.03.2026, submitted by the petitioner vide Annexure-K and pass an appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. - 6 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010312312026 NC: 2026:KHC:40132 WP No. 13968 of 2026 5. Meanwhile, the petitioner-Institutions are henceforth directed not to admit any students for the Academic Year from 2026-27. 6. The undertaking given by the petitioner on 13.07.2026 not to admit the students for the Academic Year 2026-27 shall continue for a period of one month. 7. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 8. In view of the disposal of the writ petitions, pending interlocutory application(s), if any, does not survive for consideration and accordingly disposed of.
