2. Vakalath filed by Sri.Sathvik.M who represents the respondent is accepted.

Sri.Sagar.A.Shetty, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Sri.Sathvik.M, learned counsel for the respondent submits that the parties to the proceedings intend to settle their disputes amicably. Petitioner/husband agreed to pay respondent/wife a sum of Rs.12,00,000/- towards full and final settlement of all maintenance claims, arrears and liabilities and respondent

Learned counsel for the respondent submits that respondent agreed to receive Rs.12,00,000/- towards permanent alimony and therefore, as per the terms of compromise, the proceedings in this revision petition may be closed.
5. Joint affidavit given by both the parties is gone through. Having considered the contents of the affidavit, this Court considers desirable to close the proceedings as sought for.
6. Therefore, proceedings in this revision petition are closed.
7. The affidavit filed shall form part of record.
8. In case petitioner fails to pay the amount as agreed upon, liberty is granted to the respondent to file an
