CORAM : NANDESH S. DESHPANDE , J. DATE : AUGUST 21, 2026. 1. Heard. 2. The non-applicant/respondent in the present matter has been served long back. However, even on 31.07.2026, nobody appeared. An affidavit of service is also filed on record. 3. On the backdrop of these facts, I have heard the learned counsel for the applicant. The present petition, filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, prays for transfer of Hindu Marriage Petition No. 84 of 2025, filed by the non-applicant seeking divorce, from the Court of Civil Judge, Senior Division, at Washim to the Court of Civil Judge, Senior Division, Daryapur, District Amravati. 4. As can be seen from the application, proceedings initiated by the present applicant-wife seeking maintenance under the Domestic Violence Act and restitution of conjugal rights under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955, are already pending at Daryapur. It is submitted that the applicant-wife does not have any source of income and has a minor daughter aged seven years and, therefore, it is not convenient for her to travel from Daryapur to Washim. Hindu Marriage Petition No. 84 of 2025, filed by the non-applicant and pending before the Civil Judge, Senior Division, Washim, is transferred to the Civil Judge, Senior Division, at Daryapur, District Amravati. 6.
