According to the petitioner, the patta, which was earlier standing in the name of the petitioner’s father N.Krishnaraj, was ordered to be cancelled erroneously. In such circumstances, the petitioner had given representations dated 25.11.2024 and 20.11.2025 to the respondents seeking for restoration of patta in his name. 3.As seen from the documents filed along with this writ petition, based on the representations of the petitioner, proceedings have been initiated by the Revenue Divisional Officer Villupuram and the said proceedings are pending consideration. 4.The competent authority to dispose of the petitioner’s representations is the Revenue Divisional Officer, Villupuram. Since the competent authority to adjudicate the petitioner’s representations seeking for restoration of patta is the Revenue Divisional Officer, Villupuram, this Court, by exercising its suo motu powers, impleads the Revenue Divisional Officer, Villupuram as the party third respondent in this writ petition.
