The Court: The petitioner has preferred the present petition under Section 36(2) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking stay of the operation of the award dated 23.06.2025 passed by the learned sole Arbitrator as well as stay of the execution and enforcement of all future proceedings in EC-COM/643/2025.
Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already challenged the said award dated 23.06.2025 by filing AP- COM/792/2025 and the same is pending adjudication before this Court. It is further submitted that the respondent has already initiated execution proceedings being EC-COM/643/2025.

Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is ready and willing to deposit the awarded amount along with interest before this Court within a period of six weeks. In view thereof, the petitioner is directed to deposit the entire awarded amount along with interest accrued till date by way of cash security before the Registrar, Original Side within a period of six weeks. The Registrar, Original Side is directed to keep the said amount in an interest bearing FDR with an auto renewal facility. It is clarified that in the event the petitioner fails to deposit the said amount within the stipulated time, the respondent shall be at liberty to execute the award in accordance with law. With the aforesaid directions, the present petition is disposed of.
