By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief:- (i) To issue a writ order or direction in the nature of certiorari to call for the record and to quash the impugned order no. 502 dated 05.06.2025 issued by Respondent No. 2, (Annexure No. 4 to the writ petition). 4. Petitioner challenged an order of transfer passed against him. While issuing notice, this Court had provided that petitioner may join at the transferred place, which, however, shall be without prejudice to his rights and contentions. 5. Today the matter is listed on a withdrawal application. 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after joining at the transferred place, petitioner do not want to press this writ petition, therefore, the writ petition may be permitted to be withdrawn. 7. For the reasons indicated in the withdrawal application, the writ petition is permitted to be withdrawn. 8. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
