The learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing at some length, made a limited prayer that the respondents authorities may be directed to decide the claim petition submitted by the petitioner under Clause 23 of the Tender Agreement, at the earliest. 2. The petitioner is said to have submitted the claim petition on 31.05.2019 under Clause 23 of the Tender Agreement [2026:RJ-JP:11350] (2 of 2) [CW-4945/2026] (Annexure-A/3). Whenever any such claims are filed under the Tender Agreement, it is an obligatory duty of the concerned authority/ respondents to decide the same expeditiously. 3. Taking into consideration the overall facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the claim petition filed by the petitioner-firm on 31.05.2019, is still pending for adjudication by the Standing Committee of the respondents, this Court feels that it would be in the interest of justice to direct the respondents authorities to decide the claim petition of the petitioner at the earliest. 4. The respondents are directed to decide the claim petition of the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of submitting the certified copy of this Order. 5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed off. 6. In view of the order passed in the main petition, the stay application and pending application, if any, also stand disposed off.
