2. Being aggrieved by preliminary enquiry, petitioners had approached this court seeking quashing of the same.

Learned counsel Shri Amol Deshpande for respondent No.2 – Zilla Parishad, Akola, tenders across the bar that during pendency of the writ petition, the enquiry is completed and the enquiry report is submitted by the Committee on 16.8.2026.
4. In view of fact that, the Enquiry has been completed and report is submitted, challenge raised in this petition is rendered as infructuous by efflux of time.
5. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of as infructuous.
