Basumatari, learned counsel for the applicant. 2. The instant interlocutory application is preferred seeking impleadment of the following authority :- Fazal Mahmud Siddique, the Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department, Chandmari, Guwahati – 781003 District – Kamrup [M], Assam as party-respondent no. 3 in the accompanying contempt petition, Cont.Cas[C]/205/2021. 3. The applicant as the petitioner has preferred the accompanying contempt petition, Cont.Cas[C]/205/2021 alleging non-compliance of a direction made in an Order dated 06.10.2020 passed in a writ petition, W.P.[C.] no. 7353/2018. By the Order dated 06.10.2020, a direction has been made to the Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department to release the dues of the petitioner amounting to Rs. 57,91,047/- within a period of four months. Stating that the said direction has not been complied with, the contempt petition is preferred. 4. It is averred that during the pendency of the contempt petition, the incumbent holding the post of Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department, Government of Assam i.e. the party- respondent no. 2 has been transferred from the said office and in his place, the proposed party-respondent has joined as the Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department, Government of Assam. In view of such subsequent developments, the instant interlocutory application is preferred. 5. As it is stated that the proposed party-respondent is presently holding the post of Chief Engineer, Irrigation Department, Government of Assam, the instant interlocutory application Page No.# 3/3 seeking his impleadment as party-respondent no. 3 in the accompanying contempt petition is allowed. 6. The learned counsel for the applicant shall file an amended Cause-Title in terms of the Notification no. 79 dated 19.06.2023 before the Registry, within 3 [three] working days from today and on filing of such amended cause-title, the registry to cause necessary corrections in the cause-title as well as in the CIS. 7.
