The petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: "i) issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent No.1 to consider Representation given by the petitioner by way of Email dated 01/07/2026 seeking the Email Id's of all the contestants of KSBC Elections 2026 produced as Annexure-B and further direct for providing the telephone numbers of all 148 candidates. ii) Grant any other relief as this Hon'ble court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of the case including awarding costs, in the interest of justice and equity." 3. Petitioner has challenged the elections conducted to the Karnataka State Bar Council in the year 2026 and filed a proceeding before the Election Tribunal or the - 3 - HC-KAR CNR: KAHC010547102026 NC: 2026:KHC:42105 WP No. 24481 of 2026 Bar Council of India, where she has been called upon to make all the other contestants party to the said proceedings. However, she has submitted that she requires the email IDs of all the candidates for the purpose of service of notice in the said matter. 4. Considering that the same is a genuine requirement of the petitioner and the email IDs are only available with the KSBC, directing respondent No.1 to consider the representation and furnish the email IDs by end of day 10.08.2026, the petition stands disposed of.
