Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, petitioner has approached this Court by way of instant petition, seeking issuance of appropriate directions to respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been running from pillar to post, but his grievance was not being redressed by the respondent authorities. Having been left with no other option, the petitioner has approached the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana- respondent No.2 by way of representation dated 30.05.2026 (Annexure P-1), but the same is also pending decision. He also submits that the petitioner will be satisfied in case respondent No.2 is directed to look into the matter and take appropriate steps, in accordance with law. 3. Notice of motion.
