D/L607 19.08.2026 Bpg. C.R.M. (A) 2610 of 2026 In Re: An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 filed in connection with Kalna Police Station Case No.547 of 2026 dated 04.07.2026 under Sections 318(4)/338/336(3)/340(2)/61(2)/351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023; Susobovan Halder @ Susovan Halder Versus The State of West Bengal Mr. Sabyasachi Chatterjee Mr. Pintu Karar Mr. Sabab uddin Laskar Ms. Meghna Chowdhury. …for the petitioner. Mr. Debajyoti Deb Mr. Somnath Bera. …for the State. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been foisted with a criminal case because of political vendetta. The accusations made in the information which has been treated to be the FIR are without any substance and do not make out any case so far as the present petitioner is concerned. Learned advocate for the State has produced the case diary. I have taken into account the allegations. The same relate to cash for job scam. Having considered the nature of the accusations, I am of the opinion that this is not a fit case for 2 granting the relief sought for. Accordingly, CRM(A)2610 of 2026 is dismissed. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities. (Tirthankar Ghosh, J.)
