This writ petition seeks expeditious disposal of an application under Section 14 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 pending before the learned District Magistrate at Purba Medinipur. 4. Learned advocate appearing for the Bank submits that the aforesaid application has been pending before the District Magistrate since May 16, 2025. 5. Having heard the learned advocates appearing for the petitioner and having considered the material on record, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the learned District Magistrate, Purba Medinipur to dispose of the petitioner’s application under Section 14 of the 2002 Act as expeditiously as possible, and preferably within a period of one 2 month from the date of communication of this order, in accordance with law. 6. Accordingly, WPA 21762 of 2026 stands disposed of. No Costs. 7.
