WP No. 19260 of 2026 __________ Page2 of 4 ORDER This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 29.09.2025 sent for lifting the ban in respect of the Petitioner’s lands measuring 1.11.0 Hectares(1.45 Acres) in Old R.S.No.173/3, New R.S.No. 173/3B situate in Bolanaickenpalayam Village, Perundurai Taluk, Erode District, within a stipulated period. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner entered into an agreement of sale with one Uma and as she refused to perform her part of the contract, the petitioner filed a civil suit. The said suit was decreed and sale deed was executed by the Court and when the sale deed was presented for registration, the 2nd respondent refused to receive it by stating that the 1st respondent has banned registration. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation dated 29.09.2025 before the 1st respondent for lifting the ban. Since no steps have been taken, the present writ petition is filed. 3. In reply, the learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner’s representation dated 29.09.2025 will be disposed of by the 1st respondent within a period of eight weeks. 4. In view of the above, this Court directs the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 29.09.2025 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner. 6.
