Let affidavit-of-service, as filed in Court, be kept on record. 2. The petitioner is the only legal heir of one Khandi Baski (Murmu). The said employee was engaged as a labourer, in Group-D post, in Sisal Plantation Farm, Rajnagar, Birbhum, under the Department of Agriculture, Government of West Bengal. The said employee expired sometime in January 2000, when the petitioner was a minor, aged about six years. 3. Upon attaining majority, the petitioner had applied for release of the family pension payable to the said employee. The application of the petitioner was not considered. He had applied again on June 3, 2025, before the respondent no. 3 as well as respondent no. 4. 4. As it appears from the records that this representation of the petitioner, dated June 3, 2025, has also not been considered. 2 5. In view thereof, I direct the respondent no. 2 to dispose of the representation of the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The resultant order shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereafter. 6. With the aforestated directions, the writ petition is disposed of. 7. There will be no order as to costs. 8. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order, duly downloaded from the official website of this Hon’ble Court. (Reetobroto Kumar Mitra, J.)
