1. Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of petitioners is taken on record.
2. It is submitted by learned advocate representing petitioners that petitioners’ premises is without any water supply for last twenty-five days due to obstruction made by respondent nos.7 to 12. Petitioners pray for direction upon concerned police authority which would permit them to restore water supply to their premises by carrying out necessary repairing work.
3. It is further submitted on behalf of petitioners that previously attempts were made to complete repairing work for restoration of water supply but such attempt failed due to obstruction caused by private respondents. It is also submitted that a criminal prosecution was initiated being Liluah P.S. Case No.382 of 2026 dated 28th July, 2026 and investigation is being carried out.
4. A communication dated 5th August, 2026 of Officer-in- Charge, Liluah Police Station is filed on behalf of State respondents and same is taken on record. Copy
[2] of the said communication is made over to the learned advocate representing petitioner.
5. Said communication dated 5th August, 2026 corroborates submission made on behalf of petitioner relating to registration of FIR.
6. Be that as it may Officer-in-Charge, Liluah Police Station being respondent no.6 is directed to provide assistance to petitioners which would enable them to carry out necessary repairing work for restoration of water supply to their premises.
7. Petitioners shall intimate respondent no.6 the date when such work is to be carried out and based on which police assistance shall be provided on that particular date.
8. Writ petition stands disposed of.
9. Parties to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this court.
