--- 03/02.04.2026 Heard Mr. Satyanshu Shubham, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Spl.P.P. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Deoghar Cyber P.S. Case No. 152 of 2025.
The petitioner and other miscreants were apprehended by the police and from their possession mobile and SIMs were recovered. They were suspected to be involved in cyber-crime.
It appears that from the possession of the petitioner one mobile phone and one SIM were recovered. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedents and he is in custody since 20.11.2025. It has further been submitted that no complaint has been made by any of the victims.
Learned Spl.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and submitted that two of the victims had lodged complaint which indicates about the involvement of the petitioner in commission of cybercrime.
However, regard being had to the period of custody undergone by the petitioner and fact that he does not have any criminal antecedents, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge II Cum Cyber Crime Special Court, Deoghar in connection with Deoghar Cyber P.S. Case No. 152 of 2025.
This application stands allowed.
