By order dated 31.10.2025 passed in WP(C) No.6171/2025, the writ petition stood disposed of directing the respondents to grant the benefit of minimum scale of pay to the petitioners in terms of the decision rendered by the Division Bench of this Court in State of Assam Vs. Shri. Upen Das” reported in 2020 (5) GLT 605. 3.
The learning counsel for the applicants has now filed this interlocutory application to submit that the name of the petitioner at Serial No. 81 of the writ petition, namely Rajib Basumatary and also the petitioner at Serial No. 99, who is also reflected as Rajib Basumatary are two different persons, whereas their father’s name and addresses are shown to be one and the same person. The particulars are reflected in paragraph 6 is reflected below:

4. The learned counsel for the applicants therefore, submits that this error of
Page No.# 5/6 the petitioner's name at Serial No. 81 and 99 had occurred due to oversight and unintentional mistake on the part of the filing counsel. Therefore, upon the same being noticed, the present application has been filed seeking necessary corrections as per the particulars reflected in paragraph 6 of the present interlocutory application. The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the names of the petitioner at Serial Nos.81 and 99 of the writ petition in WP(C) No.6171/2025 be corrected as the particulars reflected in paragraph 6 of the present interlocutory application. 5. The learned counsel for the respondents Nos. 4 to 18 does not object to the prayer made. 6. In that view of the matter this interlocutory application stands allowed and in WP(C) No.6171/2025, the name of the petitioner at Serial No.81 and Serial No. 99, both by the name of “Rajiv Basumatary” will stand corrected in terms of the particulars specified in paragraph 6 of the present interlocutory application, which are as under:

7. The cause title in WP(C) No.6171/2025 accordingly stands corrected to the extent indicated above. 8. No further corrections are required in the body of the order dated 31.10.2025 passed in WP(C) No.6171/2025. The order passed today in this interlocutory application shall be read together with the order passed in WP(C) No.6171/2025 vide the order dated 31.10.2025. 9.
