In this petition, the petitioner has limited prayer regarding the direction to respondent No.4 -the Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Nagpur to decide the validity certificate claim of the petitioner belonging to “Mana” Scheduled Tribe within a period of two weeks. 2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner who submitted that the petitioner is provisionally admitted to first year under graduate technical course “Computer Science” in Engineering and Technology in Yashwantrao Chavan College of Engineering Nagpur on 04.08.2026. She belongs to “Mana” Scheduled Tribe and certificate is already issued to 2026:BHC-NAG:11053-DB 2 2 wp no.6511.26.odt..odt her by the S.D.O. Umred, District Nagpur on 16.02.2016. Her caste claim is forwarded to the Committee for validation but it was not yet decided. Now she is admitted in Engineering College and she is in requirement of validity certificate, therefore, Committee be directed to decide the claim of the petitioner at the earliest. 3. Learned AGP, on instructions, submitted that the caste claim of the petitioner can be decided within three months. 4. Learned counsel for the respondent Nos.2 and 3 submitted that the validity certificate is not submitted by the petitioner and she is already admitted. She is required to furnish the validity certificate, otherwise her admission shall be cancelled. 5. After hearing both the sides and on perusal of the documents, it reveals that the Committee has not decided caste claim of the petitioner. Now she is pursuing her education. Due to unavailability of the caste validity certificate, her education would be affected. 6. In view of that and in view of the statement made by learned AGP, respondent No.4 shall decide the caste claim of the petitioner within three months. 3 2 wp no.6511.26.odt..odt 7. In the meantime, respondent Nos. 2 and 3 shall not cancel the admission of the petitioner and her admission would be the subject to the validity granted by the Committee to the petitioner. 8.
