Mr. Nayak, learned Advocate appearing for the respondent WBSEDCL Authorities hands up to Court a copy of the minutes of the meeting held on August 12, 2026 between the petitioner and the Station Manager, Usti Customer Care Centre, WBSEDCL, in terms of the order dated August 10, 2026 passed by this Court. The same are taken on record. 2. The said meeting had been necessitated in view of the petitioner’s submission that the petitioner could not remain present during the inspection due to petitioner’s official constraints and the petitioner’s mother who was present during inspection could not understand anything. 3. The minutes of the meeting filed in Court indicate that the petitioner has understood the result of the inspection and that the petitioner has agreed to the shifting work 2 being done in terms of the sketch map annexed to the inspection report as well as to the minutes of the meeting. 4. In such view of the matter, nothing further remains to be ordered on this writ petition. 5. As already agreed by the parties, the WBSEDCL Authorities shall conclude the work of shifting in terms of the sketch map as agreed between the parties within a period of three weeks from date. 6. At the time of beginning the work, the WBSEDCL Authorities would serve an advance notice on the petitioner so that the petitioner may make appropriate arrangements and remain present. 7. It is further directed that the petitioner shall comply with all necessary formalities that may be remaining for the purpose of facilitating the work of shifting. 8. With the above observations, WPA 2319 of 2026 stands disposed of. No costs. 9. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities. (Om Narayan Rai, J.)
